Manager Dashboard

As a manager, your portal provides a centralized suite of tools to oversee multiple locations, manage staff attendance, and monitor live safety data across your venues.

1. User Dashboard

Upon logging in, the User Dashboard serves as your entry point for all managed locations.

  • Assigned Venues: View all venues currently under your management, such as Pica Bar or Killara Way.
  • Venue Status: At a glance, check if a venue is currently tagged as Open and verify your role permissions, which are explicitly labeled as Manager.
  • Location Data: Each venue card displays the full physical address for quick reference.

2. Command Center & Live Monitoring

The Command Center is your real-time situational awareness hub.

  • Safety Alerts: Monitor a live feed of reported incidents. When the venue is secure, the system displays an "All Clear" status.
  • Live Heatmap: Use the interactive floor plan to visualize incident density. High-risk areas, such as the Female Toilet, will display active incident markers directly on the map.
  • Staff Login Portal: Access the Staff Login QR code to help on-site security coordinators quickly join the active session.

3. Shift & Attendance Management

The Current Shifts page provides a detailed audit trail of all staff activity for accountability and payroll purposes.

  • Responder Logs: Track specific staff members, such as Bassiman Anuar or Anurag Sharma, by their name and system ID.
  • Shift Duration: View precisely when a security coordinator clocked in and out, along with the total calculated duration (e.g., 8h 0m).
  • Status Tracking: Confirm if shifts are Completed or ongoing to ensure your venue is adequately covered during operating hours.

4. Assigning Responders

While security coordinators typically self-assign, managers use this page to ensure optimal coverage across the venue's layout.

  • Visual Coverage: Monitor the Ground Floor floor plan to see which areas are currently active.
  • Alert Zones: Specific zones like the Male or Female Toilets will show warning icons if they require attention or assignment.
  • Emergency Contacts: Access a list of Active Staff Contacts and use the Copy All feature to quickly broadcast messages to all security coordinators on the floor.

5. Operational Configuration

Use the Configure tab to maintain your venue's foundational settings.

  • Operating Schedule: Define your venue's weekly hours. The system calculates the total daily monitoring period (e.g., 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM results in 8h).
  • User Information: These hours are displayed to patrons and staff, providing clarity on when the venue is officially active.
  • Active Monitoring: Defining these periods helps VenCare manage "active monitoring" sessions, ensuring the right alerts are triggered during your specific windows of operation.
  • QR & Floor Plan Settings: Upload new floor plans and map specific Zones (e.g., Male Toilet) to coordinates on the map.
  • Zone Groups: Categorize individual zones into logical groups, such as Toilets, to simplify how staff assign themselves to areas of the venue.
